We are so glad you stopped by. We were established in 1848. The church was incorporated with the State of Michigan in the year of 1888.
It was October 9, 1957, that Pastor John L. Dosh and his family began their ministry with our church. He had continued his work in our church as our Senior Pastor, Pastor of Visitation and finally a working member of our church.
With a vision of a growing congregation, on February 17, 1977, land for the site of the new church building was purchased from Kate Arnold. Ground breaking was held on October 3, 1982. On May 2, 1983 a shell for the new building was erected in just 8 weeks. Thirty-nine men from the church and community volunteered their time to help. The first services were held in the roughed in buildings with Nick the Greek speaking. November 18, 1984 was the Dedication Serviced for the New Building.
On December 21, 1986, Marvin Savola and his wonderful family came to work
for us as an Associate Pastor, taking over the Senior Pastorate in July of 1988. He continued to serve Christ in our church until July 30, 2016.
In March 2016, Pastor Mark Behr and his family joined the NABC staff.
God has given this church favor in the community and we praise Him for it.
May we continue to carry on His work here until His return.
